Chandramauli Shukla

Managing Director Madhya Pradesh Industrial Development Corporation (MPIDC)

A 2011-batch IAS officer, Shri Shukla has held several significant administrative assignments in Madhya Pradesh, including serving as Collector of Dewas. His experience spans district administration, industrial development, investment facilitation and infrastructure. In his present role, he is part of the state’s investment-promotion architecture, with MPIDC functioning as the single-window institution for investment facilitation.

Before leading its India operations, she served as Director of the Emerging Areas Team, where she worked on multi-country projects, policy development and cross-sector collaboration, and earlier spent six years as Senior Advisor to the ADB President. Her current work in India focuses on infrastructure, inclusive growth, climate resilience and private-sector-led development.

Amit Bhatt

Mr. Bhatt is a transport and urban-development specialist with more than two decades of experience in sustainable mobility and transport policy. Prior to his leadership role at ICCT, he spent 12 years with WRI India, where he led work on integrated transport and sustainable urban mobility. His professional work has contributed to policy and implementation discussions around cleaner, more efficient and people-centric transport systems.

Ravi Gadepalli

Mr. Ravi Gadepalli is a public-transport specialist whose work spans transit planning, paratransit, electric mobility and transport-system design. As a consultant to organisations including the World Bank and Asian Development Bank, he has contributed expertise to public-transport programmes and reforms. His research has also examined bus–paratransit integration, electric-bus contracting and the impact of mass transit on urban bus systems.

Prasanna Patwardhan

President Bus & Car Operators Confederation of India (BOCI)

Mr. Patwardhan is a veteran of India’s private passenger-transport industry and has played a prominent role in organised bus operations through Prasanna Purple Mobility Solutions. As a leading representative of the private bus-operator community, he has been involved in building industry-government dialogue around public transport. BOCI represents operators running more than 1.5 million buses across India, giving his industry perspective significant relevance to PPP-led mobility transformation.
