Smart City Kota Rajasthan, 8th-9th September, 2017
Smart City Mission is one of the ambitious projects initiated by The Government of India, and under the supervision of the Ministry of Urban Development, the government is directly monitoring the growth of smart city projects. Kota is among the four cities of Rajasthan which were selected by the government for urban overhaul. It is one the cities where citizens participated passionately in the Smart City Proposal (SCP) preparation process and finally turned it into reality.
Kota Municipal Corporation, Kota Smart City Ltd. and Elets Technomedia, in order to facilitate the growth of urban development of the education hub, are organising Smart City Summit in Kota on September 8th – 9th, 2017. The conference will witness presence of government institutions and bodies which are directly involved in materialising the dream of the Smart City Project.
The conference will host several panel discussions and industry presentations on significant elements of a smart city project which will include Role of IoT and IoET in implementing Smart Governance in Smart Cities, Swachh Bharat Mission, Waste Management and safe and hassle-free transportation. Smart Healthcare and Smart Education are the other two elements which will be discussed in detail at the conference.
The objective of the conference is to bring experts from government and private companies together and create a platform to deliberate on the best practices in Smart Cities across the country.
