India stands at the threshold of one of the largest urban transformations in the world. By 2050, nearly half of India's population is expected to reside in urban areas, making cities the primary engines of economic growth, innovation, and employment. Urban centres already contribute nearly 60–65% of the nation's GDP and are projected to play an even greater role in India's journey towards becoming a developed nation by 2047.
Against this backdrop, the 9th EletsNational Urban Infrastructure & Investment Summit 2026 aims to bring together policymakers, urban development authorities, municipal leaders, infrastructure agencies, investors, financial institutions, technology providers, multilateral organisations, and industry experts to deliberate on the future of urban development in Karnataka and India
Jointly organised by Elets Technomedia in host partnership with Karnataka Urban Infrastructure Development & Finance Corporation (KUIDFC), the summit will focus on enabling investments, strengthening urban governance, accelerating sustainable infrastructure development, and fostering innovative financing mechanisms for future-ready cities.
