Telangana is emerging as a national leader in future mobility, backed by strong digital governance, progressive transport policies and rapid urban innovation. As per the VAHAN National Dashboard (Ministry of Road Transport & Highways), the state has recorded over 2.5 lakh registered electric vehicles as of FY 2024–25, reflecting strong adoption across two-wheelers, three-wheelers and urban fleet segments. Public EV charging infrastructure is being expanded through state and central government programmes, with hundreds of sanctioned and operational charging stations across Hyderabad and key urban corridors. Coupled with investments in smart public transport, intelligent traffic management and multimodal connectivity under PM Gati Shakti, and anchored by Hyderabad’s position as a national technology hub, Telangana offers a policy-backed, pilot-friendly and scalable ecosystem for electric, digital and integrated mobility solutions.
