With over 5.6 lakh students enrolled in higher education and recognised by NITI Aayog (2025) as a “Gross Enrolment Ratio Achiever State”, Uttarakhand is emerging as a hub of academic excellence and innovation. The state is home to premier institutions such as IIT Roorkee, IIM Kashipur, and AIIMS Rishikesh, along with a growing network of universities, colleges, and technical institutes shaping the future of education.
Against this backdrop, the Department of Higher Education, Government of Uttarakhand, in collaboration with Elets Technomedia and Elets Digital Learning, is organising Shiksha Samvad Chintan Shivir, an exclusive, invite-only two-day summit on 8-9 October 2025 at Hotel Hyatt Centric, Dehradun.
This high-level platform will convene policymakers, academic leaders, industry experts, and thought leaders to engage in strategic deliberations on the future of higher education in Uttarakhand.
