Healthcare Summit Rajasthan, 10 July 2015

National Health Mission, Department of Medical, Health and Family Welfare, (DoHFW) Government of Rajasthan and Elets Technomedia co-organize Healthcare Summit Rajasthan – a Healthcare Ecosystem Summit towards fostering partnership and leveraging Innovations and Technology to transform healthcare delivery in Rajasthan. The Summit provides a platform for healthcare ecosystem to converge and discuss the challenges, strategic solutions, innovations and opportunities for the state of Rajasthan.

The objective of eHEALTH Healthcare Awards, Rajasthan is to bring forward the various initiatives taken to facilitate high-quality healthcare services in Rajasthan & in all over India. The award aims to felicitate organizations and individuals for their efforts towards increased quality, patient safety, CSR and use of technology etc in improving healthcare delivery at large. It will also be a platform for all government organizations, hospitals & corporate to showcase their practices.

ASHA (Accredited Social Health Activist) Programme

Since inception of NRHM in 2005, ASHA (known as ASHA Sahyogini in Rajasthan) has played an important and critical role in implementation of health activities under NRHM. The ASHA programme was introduced as a key component of the community process intervention and now it has emerged as the largest community health worker programme in the world and is considered a critical contribution to enabling people’s participation in health.

ASHA is a community level worker whose role is to function as a health care facilitator, a service provider and to generate awareness on health issues. Besides delivering key services to maternal child health and family planning, she also renders important services under National Disease Control Programme.

Integrated system for monitoring of PCPNDT ACT

PCPNDT ACT is an Act to provide for the prohibition of sex selection, in order to stop female foeticides and arrest the declining sex ratio.

The website was launched on October 01, 2012 by the National Informatics Centre (Rajasthan) which helps in monitoring of the form – A, form -F and tracking devices fitted in sonography machines at the registered sonography centres and generates various analytical and geographical reports.
